{"id":1782,"date":"2025-02-04T16:42:10","date_gmt":"2025-02-04T16:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2024\/11\/28\/guinness-world-records-tallest-and-smallest-women-meet-in-london\/"},"modified":"2025-02-04T16:42:10","modified_gmt":"2025-02-04T16:42:10","slug":"guinness-world-records-tallest-and-smallest-women-meet-in-london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/04\/guinness-world-records-tallest-and-smallest-women-meet-in-london\/","title":{"rendered":"Guinness World Record&#039;s tallest and smallest women meet in London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>2024-11-28 20:28:42<\/b><br \/>\n<BR>The world&#8217;s tallest and shortest women have met in London for an afternoon tea.<BR><br \/>\nTurkey&#8217;s Rumeysa Gelgi &#8211; who stands at 7ft 7in &#8211; and India&#8217;s Jyoti Amge &#8211; who is just 2ft tall &#8211; nibbled on some food and sipped on hot tea as they shared stories of their life experiences at the swanky Savoy hotel to celebrate Guinness World Records Day.<BR><br \/>\nRumeysa said: \u201cIt was so amazing meeting Jyoti for the first time. <BR><br \/>\n&#8220;It was difficult for us to make eye contact at times due to our height difference, but it was great. <BR><br \/>\n&#8220;We do have things in common &#8211; we both love make-up, self-care, and doing our nails.\u201d<BR><br \/>\nJyoti said: \u201cI\u2019m used to looking up and seeing people taller than me, but I was so happy to look up today and see the world\u2019s tallest woman. <BR><br \/>\n&#8220;I\u2019m delighted that I\u2019ve met Rumeysa, she is so good-natured, and I felt very comfortable talking to her.&#8221;<BR><br \/>\nIt comes as the giant 27-year-old advocate, researcher and web developer, and the little 30-year-old &#8216;American Horror Story&#8217; actress have been named a Guinness World Records icons in the special 70th anniversary edition of the book.<BR><br \/>\nReacting to the achievement, Rumeysa said: &#8220;Being named as a Guinness World Records icon in this anniversary edition is surreal, it is the greatest honour I have ever had. <BR><br \/>\n&#8220;I&#8217;ve seen myself among all these artists and athletes that I\u2019ve always been a fan of \u2013 it\u2019s an indescribable feeling.&#8221;<BR><br \/>\nMeanwhile, Jyoti said: &#8220;I am thankful to Guinness World Records for finding me in 2009 and giving me the opportunities I have had. <BR><br \/>\n&#8220;I never thought I would be called an icon, and it\u2019s extra special that it is in the 70th anniversary edition. <BR><br \/>\n&#8220;I can\u2019t explain how happy I am!&#8221;<br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/bangpremier.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Visit Bang Premier (main website) <\/a><br \/>\n<br \/><script src=\"https:\/\/geo.dailymotion.com\/player\/xtbac.js\" data-video=\"\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2024-11-28 20:28:42 The world&#8217;s tallest and shortest women have met in London for an afternoon tea.
