{"id":1839,"date":"2025-02-04T16:42:09","date_gmt":"2025-02-04T16:42:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2024\/12\/02\/beautiful-people-are-trusted-more-by-others\/"},"modified":"2025-02-04T16:42:09","modified_gmt":"2025-02-04T16:42:09","slug":"beautiful-people-are-trusted-more-by-others","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/04\/beautiful-people-are-trusted-more-by-others\/","title":{"rendered":"Beautiful people are trusted more by others"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>2024-12-02 15:53:34<\/b><br \/>\n<BR>Attractive people are trusted more by others.<BR><br \/>\nBoffins at the University of Lyon in France have found that &#8220;beauty bias&#8221; is beneficial when it comes to job applications and applying for a loan as well as in relationships.<BR><br \/>\nScientists devised an experiment where 357 volunteers played a hidden action game against another volunteer, with the participants&#8217; photos being taken beforehand to test the volunteer&#8217;s trustworthiness.<BR><br \/>\nFollowing the game, the images were put in front of 178 new participants, and they predicted how the person photographed may have behaved during the hidden action game &#8211; which the researchers could match with their true behaviour.<BR><br \/>\nLater, a third batch of volunteers rated how beautiful those pictured were &#8211; which went on to confirm that good-looking people were more trusting than those who were ugly or plain-looking.<BR><br \/>\nProfessor Astrid Hopfensitz, from the university, said: &#8220;With &#8216;Beauty bias&#8217;, or \u2018pretty privilege,\u2019 researchers label the unjustified beneficial treatments that more attractive individuals can receive. <BR><br \/>\n&#8220;Our research shows that the beauty industry is certainly thriving for a reason, but also that this creates an additional layer of inequalities and unjustified benefits to those judged as attractive.&#8221;<br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/bangpremier.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Visit Bang Premier (main website) <\/a><br \/>\n<br \/><script src=\"https:\/\/geo.dailymotion.com\/player\/xtbac.js\" data-video=\"\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2024-12-02 15:53:34 Attractive people are trusted more by others.
