{"id":2360,"date":"2025-04-02T16:06:25","date_gmt":"2025-04-02T16:06:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2025\/04\/02\/a-good-mood-can-make-a-vaccine-more-effective\/"},"modified":"2025-04-02T16:06:26","modified_gmt":"2025-04-02T16:06:26","slug":"a-good-mood-can-make-a-vaccine-more-effective","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2025\/04\/02\/a-good-mood-can-make-a-vaccine-more-effective\/","title":{"rendered":"A good mood can make a vaccine more effective"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>2025-04-02 16:06:25<\/b><br \/>\n<BR>Being in a good mood could make a vaccine more effective.<BR><br \/>\nA new study saw a team from Cardiff University take blood samples from 184 people before they received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.<BR><br \/>\nThose taking part were asked to complete a questionnaire designed to measure stress, anxiety, depression and positive mood before a second blood sample was collected four weeks after the second dose of the jab was injected.<BR><br \/>\nThe researchers discovered that antibodies in those who were in positive moods were 16 per cent higher than those with the lowest levels of positivity.<BR><br \/>\nExperts say that the discovery could support the development of new treatments designed to improve a person&#8217;s mood before vaccination.<BR><br \/>\nProfessor Kavita Vedhara, from the university&#8217;s School of Psychology, said: &#8220;Vaccines are considered to be among the most important health measures ever developed, with research suggesting that, globally, vaccines save six lives every minute.<BR><br \/>\n&#8220;But not everyone benefits from vaccines.
