{"id":2890,"date":"2025-06-23T13:45:27","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T13:45:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/23\/new-cheese-tasting-world-record-set\/"},"modified":"2025-06-23T13:45:28","modified_gmt":"2025-06-23T13:45:28","slug":"new-cheese-tasting-world-record-set","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/23\/new-cheese-tasting-world-record-set\/","title":{"rendered":"New cheese tasting world record set"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>2025-06-23 13:45:27<\/b><br \/>\n<BR>A new cheese tasting world record has been set.<BR><br \/>\nIn total 1,180 people sampled three different kinds of cheese made by the dairy company Alpina Productos Alimenticios S.A.S BIC&#8217;s products in the municipality of Sopo, Cundinamarca, Colombia.<BR><br \/>\nThe samples &#8211; which highlighted the history, tradition and quality of the Alpina brand &#8211; were the Gruyere cheese, which symbolised the firm&#8217;s origins and its maturing process, the Sopo cheese, which was created for the company&#8217;s 70th anniversary in 2015, and the Argovia cheese, which was made for Alpina&#8217;s 80th birthday, and represents &#8220;European techniques and Colombia&#8217;s dairy richness&#8221;.<BR><br \/>\nAll 1,180 participants successfully set the new record, which was previously done by the Kangaroo Valley Agricultural and Horticultural Association in Australia, where 1,000 people feated on cheese.<BR><br \/>\nNatalia Ramirez, a Guinness World Records adjudicator, who was present at the event in the municipality of Sopo, Cundinamarca, Colombia, on May 25, said: \u201cAs the official Adjudicator of this record attempt, I am delighted to witness such a passionate gathering of cheese enthusiasts. <BR><br \/>\n&#8220;This event not only celebrates the art of cheese tasting, but it also highlights Alpina&#8217;s dedication to excellence in the dairy industry.<BR><br \/>\n\u201cCongratulations to all participants for making this historic milestone possible!\u201d<br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Visit Bang Bizarre (main website) <\/a><br \/>\n<br \/><script src=\"https:\/\/geo.dailymotion.com\/player\/xtbac.js\" data-video=\"\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2025-06-23 13:45:27 A new cheese tasting world record has been set.
