{"id":3130,"date":"2025-08-05T14:07:16","date_gmt":"2025-08-05T14:07:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2025\/08\/05\/brits-like-to-eat-apples-with-baked-beans\/"},"modified":"2025-08-05T14:07:17","modified_gmt":"2025-08-05T14:07:17","slug":"brits-like-to-eat-apples-with-baked-beans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2025\/08\/05\/brits-like-to-eat-apples-with-baked-beans\/","title":{"rendered":"Brits like to eat apples with baked beans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>2025-08-05 14:07:16<\/b><br \/>\n<BR>Some Brits eat apples with baked beans.<BR><br \/>\nIn total, 20 per cent of people among a sample of 2,001 Parents in the UK aged 18+ with a child(ren) aged 18 or below, like to give their apple a juicy flavour.<BR><br \/>\nAlso, as part of research by Censuswide &#8211; of which the data was collected between July 25, 2025, and July 28, 2025 &#8211; to reveal how the nation enjoys the fruit, 20 per cent like to complement apples with bacon, whilst 18 per cent like to eat the fruit with Marmite.<BR><br \/>\nOn the other hand, 27 per cent of Brits dip apples in cheese, 36 per cent smother the fruit in peanut butter, and 42 per cent cover apples in yoghurt.<BR><br \/>\nWhile the research identified apples as a favourite fruit for parents (73 per cent) and kids (66 per cent), parents admit they often struggle to get their kids to eat more than a bite (40 per cent), and 47 per cent worry that fresh fruit will go wasted in their household.\u00a0<BR><br \/>\nOn Monday (04.08.25), Tesco relaunched its popular Free Fruit for Kids initiative, offering free apples for kids in stores nationwide until August 17. <BR><br \/>\nRolling out in large stores, children can pick up a free apple after checkout to enjoy as a healthy snack on the way home.\u00a0<BR><br \/>\nAnd Tesco&#8217;s initiative comes as 98 per cent of people would like to eat more fresh fruit in a bid to be healthier, and 49 per cent of shoppers would welcome initiatives from supermarkets that would help them eat more fruit and veg.<BR><br \/>\nNatasha Maynard, Tesco nutritionist, said: &#8220;Our customers tell us that they want to eat more healthily, but sometimes they find eating their five-a-day hard. <BR><br \/>\n&#8220;But this matters as a diet rich in fruit and veg helps provide essential vitamins, minerals and fibre, so we&#8217;re pleased to be able to support families get the fruit and veg they need, including bringing back Free Fruit for Kids.&#8221;<BR><br \/>\nDoctor Zoe Williams, a NHS General Practitioner (GP) and TV health expert, added: &#8220;Getting kids to eat their five-a-day can sometimes feel like an uphill battle, but the secret is making healthy eating fun, positive, and a part of everyday life. <BR><br \/>\n&#8220;Having fruit and vegetables readily available really helps, which is why Tesco&#8217;s Free Fruit for Kids initiative is such a fantastic opportunity for families. <BR><br \/>\n&#8220;It helps make nutritious snacking simpler and more accessible &#8211; especially during the busy summer holidays when normal routines can be disrupted.&#8221;\u00a0<br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Visit Bang Bizarre (main website) <\/a><br \/>\n<br \/><script src=\"https:\/\/geo.dailymotion.com\/player\/xtbac.js\" data-video=\"\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2025-08-05 14:07:16 Some Brits eat apples with baked beans.
