{"id":3305,"date":"2025-09-03T13:12:37","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T13:12:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2025\/09\/03\/fire-crew-free-toucan-trapped-behind-dishwasher-following-toilet-fall\/"},"modified":"2025-09-03T13:12:38","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T13:12:38","slug":"fire-crew-free-toucan-trapped-behind-dishwasher-following-toilet-fall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2025\/09\/03\/fire-crew-free-toucan-trapped-behind-dishwasher-following-toilet-fall\/","title":{"rendered":"Fire crew free toucan trapped behind dishwasher following toilet fall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>2025-09-03 13:12:37<\/b><br \/>\n<BR>A toucan was rescued from beind a dishwasher after it fell down the toilet.<BR><br \/>\nChester gave his owner Maria Stagliano, from Virginia, the fright of her life when he toppled into the toilet while she was cleaning.<BR><br \/>\nOn Monday (1.09.25), she explained on Instagram: &#8220;I am usually so good about putting the lid down but I did not notice he was in the bathroom with me.&#8221;<BR><br \/>\nAlthough the water was &#8220;clean&#8221;, his owner rushed him to the sink for a quick scrub. <BR><br \/>\nBut Chester &#8220;does not like forced baths&#8221; and bolted before he could be dried.<BR><br \/>\nThe soggy bird then discovered a hidden hole near the dishwasher and vanished inside. <BR><br \/>\nMaria added: &#8220;I don&#8217;t think either of us knew this hole existed.&#8221;<BR><br \/>\nFearing she would damage pipes if she tried to pull the appliance out, she rang her apartment maintenance team but was told it was not an emergency.<BR><br \/>\nSo Maria called Arlington County Fire Department. <BR><br \/>\nShe said: &#8220;Firemen get cats out of trees.
