But bulkier items like baby strollers or fire extinguishers lead to penalties.<BR><br \/>\nThis year\u2019s contest took place in Tokyo\u2019s bustling Shibuya district on October 29, where 879kg of rubbish was collected across two 45-minute sessions. <BR><br \/>\nJapan, which had trained for over a year, reclaimed the title on home soil, followed by Germany and Morocco.<BR><br \/>\nUK competitor Hannah said the event highlighted the \u201chuge problem\u201d of littering in London. <BR><br \/>\nShe recalled: \u201cThere was an enormous amount of fly-tipping \u2014 we were ankle-deep in trash.&#8221;<BR><br \/>\nTeammate Bella said the experience was \u201cinspiring and humbling\u201d: &#8220;The UK can learn so much from Japan in taking collective pride in everyday tasks.
