I&#8217;m going to be able to now, so that is absolutely brilliant.\u201d<BR><br \/>\nShe had been posing for a photo with the Flamborough Flippers swimming group when disaster struck.<BR><br \/>\nShe added: \u201cI really couldn&#8217;t believe I lost it. One minute we were standing up smiling, the next minute it was disappearing off.&#8221;<BR><br \/>\nDespite a frantic search by members of the 22-strong group, the blade was nowhere to be found.<BR><br \/>\nThe leg, which Brenda received after a car crash five years ago, had been specially designed so she could swim.<BR><br \/>\nShe explained: \u201cI was very excited because I had this new limb that I could go into the water with.<BR><br \/>\n\u201cI&#8217;ve just been very sad about it all this time because I thought I would never see it.\u201d<BR><br \/>\nThe dramatic discovery came when fossil hunter Elizabeth Forbes, 38, spotted what she first thought was a gas canister during a walk near Hornsea.<BR><br \/>\nShe recalled: \u201cIt looked like an upside down lemonade bottle with something on top then it sort of clicked that it was a prosthetic leg.&#8221;<BR><br \/>\nElizabeth posted a photo online \u2013 and Brenda\u2019s missing limb was quickly identified.<BR><br \/>\nShe added: \u201cI was kicking myself for not picking up the leg. I never thought we&#8217;d have someone say &#8216;that&#8217;s my leg.'&#8221;<BR><br \/>\nLaughing, Brenda quipped: \u201cIt&#8217;s come a long way.
