Sir Keir Starmer is facing calls to release the UK’s “UFO files”.

\nThe British Prime Minister is being urged to give officials the green light to disclose documents held in the archives of organisations including the Ministry Of Defence (MOD), the Royal Air Force (RAF) as well as the UK’s intelligence agencies to follow in the footsteps of US President Donald Trump who has been responsible for unsealing the Pentagon’s previously unseen reports about mysterious sightings spanning nearly 80 years.

\nUFO expert and filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee told the Daily Star newspaper the latest files release by the US should persuade the UK government to start the disclosure process. He said: “The Ministry of Defence has repeatedly claimed that UFOs are \u2018not of defence significance.

\n“That position is no longer tenable. The new US files released this week on war.gov clearly show American military forces actively pursuing and shooting down a UFO in their airspace.

\n“If unidentified objects are being engaged by the US military we must assume the same is happening – or has happened – in British skies. The time for blanket denials is over.”

\nHe went on to add: “We are not alone. There is clearly something operating in our skies that is not our technology. These are not balloons, drones, or misidentified aircraft. The phenomena demand proper open scientific investigation – not continued dismissal by the Ministry of Defence.

\n“I respectfully call on Sir Keir Starmer to match President Trump\u2019s commitment to disclosure. Release every UK UFO file held by the MoD, the RAF, and intelligence agencies. Establish a transparent, scientifically-led UAP investigation unit.”

\nLee added the British public has the “right to know” what has been spotted in the skies and former service personnel must feel free to talk about their experiences.

\nLee previously directed a film called The King of UFOs which featured claims Britain’s King Charles flew an actual UFO in Canada in 1975.

\nThe documentary showed an interview with Canadian diver Dan Costello who claims to have witnessed Charles – then Prince of Wales – as one of three pilots flying a prototype UFO at Sandy Point in Nova Scotia.

\nCostello claimed the craft was shaped like a UFO and emitted a blue ionic flame which scorched the earth below and turned the soil to grass.

\nHe said Charles was stationed on the nearby HMS Endeavour as a Helicopter pilot and was drafted in on what was called Project Serpico.

\nLee – who researched Costello’s claims and found validity to them – said: “What if what we are all seeing in the sky and thinking are extra terrestrial spacecraft are actually just a secret highly advanced earthbound technology?

\n“What if Prince Charles was involved with this project – does King Charles know the truth about UFOs? If so he should release this truth to the public. We deserve to know!”
