{"id":4748,"date":"2026-06-30T11:02:36","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T11:02:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2026\/06\/30\/mexican-batman-hunted-by-police-after-taping-suspected-thieves-to-lampposts\/"},"modified":"2026-06-30T11:02:38","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T11:02:38","slug":"mexican-batman-hunted-by-police-after-taping-suspected-thieves-to-lampposts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/index.php\/2026\/06\/30\/mexican-batman-hunted-by-police-after-taping-suspected-thieves-to-lampposts\/","title":{"rendered":"Mexican &#039;Batman&#039; hunted by police after taping suspected thieves to lampposts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>2026-06-30 11:02:36<\/b><br \/>\n<BR>A Mexican vigilante known as &#8216;Batman&#8217; is wanted by police after allegedly taping suspected thieves to lampposts.<BR><br \/>\nOver 10 days, it&#8217;s said at least five men were found taped up and unable to move in Lagos de Moreno in Jalisco, western Mexico since June 13.<BR><br \/>\nAccording to reports, many of the men had moustaches, cat whiskers and the Spanish word for thief (ratero) drawn on their races.<BR><br \/>\nSome had also suffered injuries like cuts and bloody faces, allegedly at the hands of the anonymous vigilante.<BR><br \/>\nMeanwhile, some of the alleged criminals had pink warning signs above their heads detailing the crimes they have been accused of, with bikes they allegedly stole left nearby.<BR><br \/>\nMexican journalist Luis Cardenas described them as the &#8220;Batman of Lagos de Moreno&#8221;, after reports the mysterious individual took matters into their own hands after growing tired of law enforcement&#8217;s apparently slow pace.<BR><br \/>\nEmergency services released the men, and local police are hunting the vigilante.<BR><br \/>\nNo arrests have been made.<BR><br \/>\nAccording to The Telegraph, Salvador Gonz\u00e1lez de los Santos, a Jalisco prosecutor noted that he remains their priority.<BR><br \/>\nThey will be investigating the alleged thefts, but the five men in question at being treated as victims &#8220;at this moment&#8221;, because of the nature of the vigilante&#8217;s actions.<br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Visit Bang Bizarre (main website) <\/a><br \/>\n<br \/><script src=\"https:\/\/geo.dailymotion.com\/player\/xtbac.js\" data-video=\"\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2026-06-30 11:02:36 A Mexican vigilante known as &#8216;Batman&#8217; is wanted by police after allegedly taping suspected thieves to lampposts.
