The UK\u2019s \u201calien capital\u201d has been revealed, with the most UFO sightings happening in the city.

\nAccording to new analysis, Cambridge logged more sightings of potential extra terrestrial activity than any other location in the UK.

\nIn fact, there have been 19 recorded reports of UFO sightings – the equivalent of 153 reports per one million residents.

\nIn comparison, London has just 11 sightings per million residents.

\nThe new report from CSB, a platform that analyses odds and likelihoods, also means that you have a 0.25% of witnessing alien activity if you visit the city.

\nThe large amount of UFO sightings in Cambridge can be put down to the flat landscape, meaning that people have vast views with no obstructions blocking their eyeliner.

\nIn addition, the fact that Cambridge is a university city means that witnesses are more likely to record any unusual activity.

\nCSB said in a statement: \u201cThe university research culture likely means unusual things get documented.\u201d

\nThe report comes after documentary filmmaker Mark Christopher Lee made the shocking prediction that aliens will reveal themselves during the 2026 World Cup.

\nLee, a renowned UFO investigator, author and director of documentaries including UFO Encounters of the 5th Kind and God Versus Aliens, made his allegations amid an \u201cundeniable\u201d pattern of UFO activity linked to soccer stadiums and major tournaments.

\nHe explained: \u201cThe pattern is undeniable. From Florence in 1954, where a packed stadium became a UFO viewing platform, to modern World Cup venues, soccer has repeatedly been interrupted or overshadowed by the unexplained.

\n\u201cWith the 2026 tournament about to kick off amid unprecedented UAP transparency from the U.S. government, we may be days or weeks away from the moment the world has been waiting for \u2013 live disclosure before the largest global audience in human history.\u201d

\nThe incident Lee referred to in Florence took part during a friendly match between Fiorentina and their local rivals at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in the Italian city, on 27 October, 1954.

\nThe game was halted when cigar-shaped, egg-like silvery objects took to the sky, performing acrobatic manoeuvres in the sky. When the referee suspended play, footballers including Italian sports legend Ardico Magnini, and 10,000 fans looked up to the sky – stunned by what they were seeing.

\nAs the mysterious objects departed, they left behind \u201cangel hair\u201d – silvery thread-like strands determined by scientists at the University of Florence to contain boron, silicon, magnesium, and calcium – which disintegrated quickly when touched. The 1954 event sparked a string of UFO sightings across Tuscany and Europe later that year.

\nMeanwhile, during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, a \u201cstingray-shaped\u201d UFO was spotted in the sky above Nizhny Novgorod Stadium – with a video of the bizarre event quickly going viral. While a sighting was also reported in 2023 above Mexico\u2019s FC Ju\u00e1rez Bravos stadium, as well as others near major stadiums worldwide.
