I [took] him deep into a very deep [state], and then I did something very, very highly unethical\u2026 <BR><br \/>\n\u201cI suddenly asked him under hypnosis, \u2018Mike, Michael, did you ever touch a child in an inappropriate manner?\u2019<BR><br \/>\n\u201cAnd he, under deep hypnosis, answered, \u2018No, I would never do that.\u2019 And then I asked him, \u2018Well, why did you pay off a child millions?\u2019 And he answered back, \u2018Because I couldn\u2019t take it any more.\u2019 So to me, that was a private validation.\u201d<BR><br \/>\nHe insisted: \u201cThis man is totally innocent.\u201d<BR><br \/>\nUri initially found fame for his ability to \u201cbend spoons\u201d &#8211; a talent he says he discovered at the age of six, when he bent his soup spoon using just his mind while eating his mother\u2019s vegetable soup. <BR><br \/>\nHe added: \u201cI never get bored of bending spoons, or fixing a broken watch.\u201d<BR><br \/>\nUri also insisted that he will always be adamant \u201ctill the day I die\u201d that what he does is \u201creal\u201d. <BR><br \/>\nHe concluded: \u201cThis is an act that no one can forget.\u201d<BR><br \/>\nThe magician\u2019s interview came after he said he had \u201charnessed\u201d the \u201csupernatural energies\u201d of a crystal skull he had \u201cdiscovered telepathically many years ago\u201d &#8211; to ensure that the England football team would proceed to the quarter finals of the World Cup. <BR><br \/>\nWriting on Facebook in the hours before England\u2019s match against Mexico, he said: \u201cThis relic, which could even be of alien origin, was discovered telepathically by me many years ago hidden deep inside a Mayan pyramid.
