The Amazon product code is B0B15J7N2B.<BR><br \/>\nRecall information published by the Office for Product Safety and Standards has not specified how long the kit was available for sale before being withdrawn.<BR><br \/>\nThe latest recall comes amid a wider crackdown on asbestos-contaminated products.<BR><br \/>\nOver the past seven months, 183 other craft kits, children\u2019s toys and novelty items have reportedly been removed from sale after asbestos was discovered.<BR><br \/>\nThis includes seven other sand art bottles and craft kits sold or distributed by companies including Habico Ltd, Kids Create and KTL (Kandy Toys).<BR><br \/>\nAnyone with an affected product should stop using it immediately.<BR><br \/>\nIf the sand remains inside its original packaging, customers are advised to place it inside a heavy-duty plastic bag, double-tape it, label it and keep it well away from children.<BR><br \/>\nWhere sand has already been used, affected areas should be cleaned with wet cloths while wearing gloves and a mask. Cleaning materials should then be securely bagged in the same way.<BR><br \/>\nChildren should be kept away from contaminated areas until they have been thoroughly cleaned.<BR><br \/>\nAsbestos is particularly concerning because exposure can cause serious health problems.<BR><br \/>\nThe material has been linked to diseases including lung cancer and mesothelioma, although health risks depend on factors such as the type of asbestos, the amount of exposure and how long someone is exposed.<BR><br \/>\nThe UK banned the import, export, sale and use of all forms of asbestos in 1999 following decades of evidence about its health risks.<BR><br \/>\nThe recall is a further warning for parents to check children\u2019s craft products carefully, particularly when buying items from online marketplaces where products can be supplied by third-party sellers.<br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/bangbizarre.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Visit Bang Bizarre (main website) <\/a><br \/>\n<br \/><script src=\"https:\/\/geo.dailymotion.com\/player\/xtbac.js\" data-video=\"\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2026-08-25 13:14:32 A popular children\u2019s sand toy has been pulled from sale after tests found it was contaminated with asbestos.
