A family is offering up to £50,000 for someone to look after their two dogs and large home.

The full-time housekeeper role, which would be 40 hours a week from Monday to Friday with some flexibility, would include walking and feeding their pet pooches, as well as letting them in and out of the house, which they’d also be on hand to support the running.

The family in Surrey are described as “friendly” and “down-to-earth” in the job description on Home Organisers.

It reads: “A friendly, down-to-earth family based in Chobham is seeking a reliable and proactive full-time Housekeeper to support the smooth running of their home.

“This is a hands-on role within a large family home, suited to someone who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of day-to-day household tasks.

“The role is primarily focused on housekeeping and the consistent care of the family’s two dogs.”

The family also have four children aged between 12 and 22.

A car will be provided for use on duty, and salary would be between £45k and £50k, with the job set to start in September,

The job listing added: “The family are looking for someone practical, adaptable and easy to have around, who is happy to get on with what needs doing without close direction.”

Duties would also include taking children to sports activities, parties and other commitments.

Previous work in a private household is required, and they want someone flexible, reliable, fluent English, and organised.
