The man with the world’s smallest penis has been offered a free enlargement operation by a plastic surgeon.
Michael Phillips holds the official world record for the smallest micropenis, which is 0.38 inches long – the same length as a garden pea.
He regularly posts on his social media pages to offer updates, and said in a previous post: “Not everyone knows this but I unfortunately got stuck with a micropenis condition being less than one inch.
“Not many people know it’s a real condition and [I] have been dealing with it forever.”
He’s also “unable to intimate” and struggles to urinate, having to wear nappies every day, and has even tried using fat injections to try and make it bigger – unsuccessfully.
While he’s had consultations in the past to “see what can be done to make it bigger”, he has come up empty handed so far.
He added: “Those that follow me and support please wish me luck that I get good results. Not a joke.”
Now it seems Phillips can be more positive about a potential solution, after Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Robert Dorfman offered him an injection procedure, usually valued at around £15,000, for free – after being moved by Michael’s story.
He told TMZ: “I understand how deeply personal these concerns can be. They can have a significant impact on self-esteem and confidence.
“If I have the opportunity to help someone feel better about themselves, I’m happy to offer my services at no cost.”
Dorfman’s offer comes after Michael set up a fundraising page to try and get enough money to have the surgery, and wrote on the GoFundMe: “This has been a source of daily frustration and embarrassment, especially when traveling, which I like to do, and it has affected my confidence and independence.”
Michael added that he had saved as much as possible for “the cost of the surgery and injections that could help increase the girth and allow me to use the restroom more normally.”
He later cancelled the fundraiser after learning the risks associated with the surgery, but has yet to respond to Dorfman’s kind offer.
