Paintings created by a young Adolf Hitler could fetch £3,500 at auction.
The Nazi dictator was 20 years old when he produced two watercolours in 1909 and 1910.
An art piece of a European-style home is expected to go under the hammer for £2,000.
Meanwhile, a painting of a church tower in Austria – his home country – is estimated to sell for £1,500.
The works will be auctioned off during the sale at Hutchinson Scott Auctioneers, Skipton, North Yorkshire, on January 20 – despite potential backlash.
Haydon Bottomley, of the auction house, is quoted by the Daily Star newspaper as saying: “We don’t get involved in politics. If it is legal to sell something, we will.
“It is not our place to judge.”
Hitler – who was trying to become an artist in Vienna, Austria, but instead became a vile politician who dictated Germany during the Nazi era from 1933 until he took his own life in 1945 aged 56 – is believed to have created hundreds of art pieces between 1908 and 1913.
