A giant floral puppy has stolen the spotlight at the Shanghai International Flower Show.
The display – made of flowers and greenery – stands at 17ft in the Jing’an District of the Chinese city.
It is one of many stunning floral installations to pop up around Shanghai, alongside beautifully themed gardens and public art.
The Shanghai International Flower Show kicked off on April 18 with an opening ceremony that unveiled 18 different varieties of flowers.
The event runs until May 10.
Tim Edwards, president of the Sino-European Horticultural Association, is quoted by ChinaDaily.com as saying: “This is a celebration of plants, flowers, and green spaces, and this is a unique city.
“This is a great opportunity to talk to the whole world about Shanghai and about China. Green spaces and flowers are an international language.”
