Two “ghostbusters” were driven out of Caprice’s home by a spooky presence.
The 54-year-old model – full name Caprice Bourret – bought a house in the upmarket area of Notting Hill in London and she was devastated to discover it was haunted so she called in a number of experts to help get rid of the presence but two of them ran away in fear even though she’d already paid them their £300 fee up front.
She told The Sunday Times newspaper: “I have a place in Notting Hill, which is amazing but initially was haunted.
“I had three ghostbusters and a rabbi over – two of the ghostbusters ran out. I’m like: ‘I’ve paid, you can’t just run out!’ They cost about £300 a time and you pay upfront.”
Caprice previously opened up about the haunting and revealed the ghost was “obsessed” with her two young sons, Jax and Jett.
The model explained the haunting started shortly after she brought the boys home after they were born.
She told Metro newspaper: “It sounds ludicrous, but it was obsessed with Jax and Jett. One night, Ty looked at the baby monitor and got the fright of his life.
“He saw a woman in a long dress hovering over their cots as they slept. When he ran into their room, there was nobody there. A babysitter who checked the monitor while we were out also saw the ghost staring at the boys. She was terrified.”
Caprice went on to reveal the family also experienced doors opening and closing and cold spots.
She said: “I could feel the ghost’s presence too. It would open and close doors, and although we had underfloor heating, that room was freezing cold.”
After her experience with the “ghostbusters” failed, Caprice decided to try talking to the spook herself – and she told it to leave them all alone.
She added to Metro: “I brought in three ghostbusters but the presence remained. Two years later, I took matters into my own hands. I sat in the boys’ room and said: ‘This isn’t your house any more [ you’ve got to leave’.
“Suddenly, the atmosphere changed and she was gone.”
