An all-you-can-eat restaurant is introducing a new “vomit fee” to keep greedy patrons in check.

Sushi Toro, which is found in Gelves near Sevilla, Spain, wants to stop diners from eating so much the end up being physically sick in the restaurant.

In a statement, staff said: “We have had many customers who keep ordering non-stop and eat until they burst, until they vomit.

“We have had vomit on the tables and in the bathrooms.”

The “only solution” left facing the restaurant is to introduce a vomit fee.

They’re faced with having to “get orders out on time and maintain good hygiene”, and have urged customers to “order what you can eat” instead of overindulging.

Sushi Toro is popular for its fusion of “tradition and innovation” across a varied menu, using fresh ingredients and expert techniques.

Depending on the day of the week and time of the day, the buffet costs between €16.90 and €23.90.

All-you-can-eat buffets are known to add potential charges, such as a fee for overordering and not finishing the food, which is intended to prevent food waste.

Sushi Toro’s new rule is displayed clearly on its premises, to ensure customers are away of the fee.
